“Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes” Isaiah 54:2.

God was speaking to the people of Israel about the post exilic period and encouraging them to spread out and not confine themselves to a small area. From this we infer that God would want His Church to grow and spread far and wide. We can widen our influence when we reach out to others. It is the desire and will of God that each and every one should experience and know the love of God.

As UESI Kerala family we have declared this academic year as the year of ‘Outreach and Soul winning’. Last year it was Prayer and Bible study, and we were able to see the outcome in many areas, especially in our field ministry because of prayer. We have to move further. There are more than 900 colleges in Kerala and we have got our presence in about 90 colleges (including contact centres). There are many still many students who need to hear the good news.
Let us praise and thank God for the KEGF conference at Charalkunnu. It was the prayers and the effort of our graduates which made it a success.

The State level GSTP will be from May 25th to June 8th at our centre. Kindly pray for its effectiveness and encourage all our graduating students to participate.

Our Extraordinary General-body Meeting which is to pass our audited accounts and annual plans will be held from 10th to 12th June at our centre. I request all the regions to complete their planning at the earliest and send it to the office as well as to the planning cell.

As William Carey, the father of modern mission in his famous missionary message in 1792 at a ministers meeting, based on Isaiah 54.2 challenged the audience and said, “Expect great things from God and attempt great things for God.”Let us enlarge our tent by expecting great and amazing things from God and attempting great things for Him in the colleges of our state.
